My name is Jennifer Nishimura.  I am a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science.  My passion for engineering and these projects opened opportunities for me to become a teaching assistant for engineering design and tutor for C++.  Over this past year, I have used my education to invest in the lives of other students by not only assisting them in solving their programming and design issues, but fostering their love for the engineering field.

3D Printed Robotic Head

Served as the communications officer for a InMoove 3D printed robotic head team. Programmed the moving elements and assembled the head.  The head has cameras and mobility in its eyes, jaw, and neck.  This project is being displayed in the California Baptist University College of Engineering.

Won first place in a competition amongst the entire freshman class for the Robot's Got Talent and Sensors event 2019.  Lead the Arduino team to successfully program an Arduino board to accept sensor data and react based on the position of the EV3 module.  Used elements such as the ultrasonic sensor, LCD monitor, servos, and relay switches to accept data and communicate to produce outputs.  Collaborated with an EV3 group to ensure the synchronicity of the team.
